Approach
The part after the handshake is the job.
Most staffing sites stop at the send-over. The account is won or lost in the first two weeks, in the pay accuracy, and in whether anyone answers the phone at 6:10 a.m.

- 01
Screening that matches the floor
A forklift certificate is looked at. A dispatcher is asked about a morning board, not about “communication skills.” An admin is asked to handle a bilingual call, not to list software.
- 02
Pay, breaks, and the wage order
Assignments follow the wage order for the city where the hours are worked. In 2026 the state floor is $16.90. The City of Los Angeles is $18.42 from July 1, and unincorporated Los Angeles County is $18.47. Overtime is time and a half after 8 hours in a day and double time after 12. A meal is due before the fifth hour. If Thrive is the employer of record, that payroll is ours to get right.
- 03
Work authorization before day one
Nobody starts if they cannot legally start. Documents are handled in the proper process, not collected for sport on a web form.
- 04
A restart, when it is ours
If a direct hire leaves or is let go for performance inside the window in the agreement, the search starts again. If the client changed the job, that is a different conversation, and we will say so.
- 05
One desk, not a maze
The person who took the brief knows the names. You do not re-explain the shift to a new account manager every Tuesday.
